Painting & Resealing
We can paint most areas including deck resealing.
Predominantly we mainly paint existing painted areas that have been replaced/repaired or need repainting due to aging, scuffed, staining or discolouration.
This type of painting is much more challenging to deal with than painting new areas. When painting existing areas we always ask if the paint colour is known, and mostly it is not. Therefore, we perform a colour match, however it is never guaranteed. In most cases an entire section needs to be repainted instead of just a small patched area.
We have also found that by knowing the paint colour or using leftover paint that has been stored away for some time, it does not always match the existing paint. Existing paint overtime can fade and discolour depending on the elements.
The Baldy Handyman has experience dealing with these types of jobs, so rest assured we strive to provide the best possible results in these situations.
Our oil-based and water-based painting and deck resealing includes:
- All Internal & External painting
- Timber/Deck Resealing
NOTE: There may be other jobs that are not listed above. Please let us know and we will let you know if we can help you.

We often get job enquiries for
Resealing decks due to cracking, splitting and sealant worn or flaked away.
Repainting patched areas or sections of walls.
Repainting doors (internal & external), timber joining, skirting boards and architraves.
Removing ceiling stains with a stain blocker and finished with a top coat.
Not too many people love painting - the prep work, priming, a couple of licks of paint and the cleaning up... that’s why they come to us!
